Craftsmanship you can touch
The brushed brass on the Sienna Alabaster Table Lamp has a softness to it that plated imitations never manage. You can feel the solid metal in the weight.
Limited lighting
A lamp carved from a single block of alabaster — stone that glows from within when the evening arrives.
Each Sienna base is carved from one block of Egyptian alabaster — the translucent stone Tuscan workshops have prized since the Etruscans. Switch it on and the stone turns to low amber light; switch it off and it is simply beautiful geology.
The shade is natural linen, sized to keep the glow directional. Stone veining varies block to block; we photograph yours before it ships.

Switched on the Sienna Alabaster Table Lamp for the first time and actually laughed — the alabaster turns to warm honey from inside. It is the single best object in our home.
Follow the card: low-watt warm bulb only, and the alabaster does the rest. I tried a bright bulb first and understood immediately why they say it.
